Joseph and Veronica are in our cold office with their heads in their hands asking us to take over their case. They live in a housing facility in the middle of nowhere with several other thousand migrants. They paid 400 Euros to a lawyer, recommended to them by the facility, to send off
an application for a permit to stay. This lawyer already gets paid to do this by the state. And he didn't do it.
